Feature Presentation.. Get Ready To Scream!
As the years pass, every October we binge watch scary movies both new and old. Movie night isn't movie night without snacks all within arms reach of you and the couch, Am I right? Screams & Snacks go hand in hand. Snacks like warm buttery popcorn, chocolate in all forms, chips, or even a couple pizzas.. and if your watching with friends or family, snacks might be all of those things. I don't recall ever watching a scary movie without having something to snack on while cuddling under a warm blanket. It's SNACK Time! Those snacks are what I call "mindless calories" calories we consume without giving it a second thought. Calories that add up and add up real quick. These are snacks that you just can't pass up.. at least thats what you tell yourself. These are snacks that lead to the extra pounds you are about to put on this fall season. Movie night, Halloween candy, Tailgating, Thanksgiving all things to give into this fall season. BUT do you have to really give into weight gain? No You Don't.. Simply Skinny to the rescue yet again! I hate to sound like a broken record, especially if you have read any of my posts but the truth is the truth. Simply Skinny product allow you to still have movie night snacks, you just won't overindulge like you normally would and snack on everything the entire movie. I am not saying you are going to take this "miracle pill" and not snack on 1 thing. What I am saying is you may just end up eating a few here and there and realize you really don't want it or have a taste for it and not eat anymore, this is the typical reported action customers find themselves doing. You know exactly what I am talking about.. those Ohh so warm, delicious, hearty meals that you only eat once September hits such as Lattes, Beef Stew, Vegetable Soup, or Chicken Pot Pie. I mean seriously, is there anything better than staying indoors on a chilly night with a warm plate beside you? I think not!! BUT (#2)... With that warm plate is usually a ton of calories and I am not one to substitute to lessen the calorie count and I am certainly not one to limit myself to half a portion and this is mostly because I don't have the will power to say "no". I know for a fact that I am not alone on this one, because if I were.. We would not have such a huge percentage of people gaining weight during the Fall and Winter months. Fall and Winter are found to be the worst months for those trying to lose weight with both men and women actally gaining approximately 5 - 7 lbs instead. Most people think that the majority of weight gain comes during the winter months, when in fact it is during the fall months that are the most destructive. Which makes complete sense with those going on post-christmas diets in January and losing an average of 3 lbs.
I have found for me that alternating from month to month between the two helps me avoid hitting a weight loss plateau. Taking these products helps me with 3 main things; (1) They suppress my appetite so that I am not eating out of sheer boredom, (2) They help me get full faster which in turn has cut my portion sizes way down (less calorie intake), (3) They control my cravings for sweets. With Halloween being right around the corner, having a huge bowl of candy is a temptation all in itself. However, we do have some real handy tips when it comes to avoiding treats. I love Fall, I love food, I love comfort foods even more.. I just don't love how my clothes fit after I have overindulged time and time again and with my Simply Skinny® I can still enjoy all the things I love.. I just love them in moderation! I was eating a Chocolate Muffin and that led me to think about how stuffed I was last night after dinner because we "had" to order appetizers.. BUT did we have to or was it that we just wanted to? The answer is obvious.. well of course we "had" to because at the Green Turtle, they have the best appetizers around! Oh and let me just add that we couldn't just get one appetizer.. because they are just so yummy, we had to order 4! Now mind you, it was just the three of us and we knew ahead of time that we were not going to be able to eat all of this amazing food. Myself, I had taken my Simply Skinny® Pollen and just should've known I was never going to be able to indulge like I really wanted to. My taste buds were ready to just savor all these delicious flavors but my belly would never allow me to eat the way I really wanted to.. Thank Goodness! However, that did not stop me from ordering my favorites, the Fried Mozzarella and Fries. While we were still eating on our appetizers the waitress came back around and asked if we had decided on our main course. I spoke up and said YES ;) I ordered the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp and added Lump Crab.. I just love seafood and pasta, I quickly told her!! I was obviously excited about eating, and as you can probably see why.. looks amazing right!
